This meant that throughout the project, Council staff were still occupying the building and safety measures had to be put in place.
The project was completed in phases in order to allow it to stay open and in use throughout. The result has led to a more energy efficient building that offers flexible, open plan working, as well as communal spaces in Grade A office accommodation with high spec finishes throughout. It’s now a modern and comfortable workspace that can be adapted for future needs and has the potential to accommodate additional public or private sector partners in the future.
