
By accommodating the infill of the lightwell, and reconfiguring the main entrance and internal areas, new learning spaces for students were added to the building.
Because this is a university building, work had to take place in such a way that there was minimal disruption to students and stakeholders within the building.
There were also the relocation of key services: smoke vent shaft and panel; main fire alarm panel; main intruder alarm panel; main disabled refuge panel.
